AI image models like Stable Diffusion work by sampling from a vast space of possible images. Your positive prompt guides the model toward a region of that space. How Negative Prompts Work Technically
In diffusion-based image models like Stable Diffusion and SDXL, the generation process uses a technique called classifier-free guidance (CFG). The final step moves away from the negative prediction and toward the positive prediction.
